ENGEL was founded in 2003 as a company for maintenance of electronic components in consumer and industrial electronics. Since 2005 our business expanded into the field of medical equipment. Acquisition of the certificate for maintenance of radiological equipment, quickly elevated this line of business into the dominant activity.
2007. ENGEL expands its business to import and distribute consumable medical supplies. As part of these activities, particularly prominent is supplying sterilization consumables to medical institutions: medical paper, sacks and rolls for sterilization, chemical and biological indicators. In support of the program of sterilization ENGEL contracts with foreign suppliers to sell all types of sterilizers: ethylene oxide based, autoclave and plasma sterilizers. In addition to that, Engel provides assistance to high-energy radiation therapy, with positioning and immobilization of patients using a thermoplastic mask.
Being a reliable partner to medical institutions, ENGEL qualified for acquisition and maintenance of oxygen therapy devices, in cooperation with HIF and has provided premium appliances from world-renowned suppliers. This program was quickly amended with aid breathing apparatus , infusion pumps, anaesthesia machines, patient monitors, dental imaging devices and so on.
2010. ENGEL implements in its portfolio maintenance and procurement of laboratory and metrology equipment. Partnerships have been established with top World manufacturers of analytical equipment, gamma spectroscopy instruments, ionizing radiation detectors & dosimeters, dosimetry readers and materials as well as nuclear medicine radioactive sources.
2011.Home care products, such as gauges of blood glucose levels, digital thermometers, blood pressure meters have been added to Engel portfolio.
2012. ENGEL obtains a license for the traffic of radioactive materials, with ADR7 certification, and begins with the import and trade of radioactive substances for medical and laboratory applications.
